How to Use the Features Available to the Entrepreneur Group:
1. Join the Entrepreneur Group by clicking the "Join" link in the next column. If you have already joined, the link to the right will say "Click to Connect (or Disconnect)". This is one way to connect to this Group so you can access the Search features, information library and forum exclusively available to Entrepreneurs. Each of these features is further described below.
2. Click here to complete or modify your Company's Public Profile. This information can be viewed by everyone in the ActSeed community. This screen enables you to share the basics of your business or idea without revealing any trade secrets or information that should be reserved for a "short list" of investors.
3. Click here to complete or modify your Company's Private Profile. This information can ONLY be viewed by the ActSeed members you specifically allow by connecting through the "Professional Contact" designation. Your Private Profile serves as a Business Evaluation Tool that generates eight ActSeed Scores that assess your company's level of preparation in seven core business areas plus one overall preparedness score. The scores range from 0 to 100 and are visible to the ActSeed community. Higher scores indicate a higher level of preparedness and are used as a benchmark by interested investors who are looking for well-prepared companies to invest in.
4. Click here to use the Search tools. Make sure you select "Entrepreneurs" from the picklist in the upper right hand area of the search screen. Now you can search for Investors, Service Providers, Education / Outreach Organizations and individual talent who are Available to Work for you in a variety of ways. You can customize your search filters, save up to 5 unique searches in each Group and even choose to have the results sent to your email on a daily or weekly basis. Your search results will be displayed at the bottom of the search page, where you can click on any username to view more details, send a message or invite to connect as a Professional Contact.
5. Click here to access the Entrepreneur Library. This informational resource is exclusively available to the Entrepreneur Group and part of the premium membership. Here, you can find a well-organized and effectively categorized knowledge base of documents and links to information that can help you build your business - from business plan templates to resources that will help you secure funding and acquire customers. You can even contribute to the Library with suggested links and documents of your own.
6. Click here to access the Entrepreneur Forum. This collaborative venue is exclusively available to the Entrepreneur Group and part of the premium membership. The forum enables you to share ideas with fellow entrepreneurs and post suggestions on how we can continue to evolve ActSeed to meet your needs.
